On my way back from the Mohawk Valley last night around midnight I was treated to the flashes of a thunderstorm north of the River.  Would not have expected that.

Snowed all day here at the house, then the band shifted south.  Still ended up with 7.25" of the stuff.

It's 4PM and it's snowing - the bigger story is the wind chill, which is hanging around -17F.  Had to make a couple of brief trips outside.  Brrrrr.

Stay home if you can, and don't do anything that would make me have to go outside, either.

And now it's a warning - a couple of feet on the Tug, lesser amounts as you move away from lake effect areas.

The midwest is getting hit pretty good.
